DISCLOSURE

Prelude: A large saucer-shaped UFO hovers silently near a nuclear power plant on the eastern shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. A bright beam of light pierces the darkness, and a young, unconscious woman is lifted from the craft, floating gently to the ground. The UFO lingers for a moment before suddenly ascending and vanishing into the night sky. The woman awakens in a panic and rushes toward the nuclear plant’s entrance gate, desperately seeking help.

Opening: Sam Cross, a seasoned investigative journalist, is begrudgingly assigned a routine story on government spending in Washington, D.C. Disillusioned by the mundane nature of the assignment, Sam’s curiosity is reignited when her boss, Frank, hints at a potential whistleblower with information about UFOs and alien technology is in the hands of a defense contractor.

Inciting Incident: Intrigued by the prospect, Sam begins her investigation and meets Sarah Kane, a mysterious Potomac socialite who is secretly a CIA officer. Sarah claims to possess irrefutable evidence of a government coverup involving extraterrestrial beings and advanced technology. She invites Sam to a high-profile party, where she introduces her to Victor “Vic” Mercer, a power-hungry billionaire and owner of a major defense corporation. Vic is evasive, offering little information but arranging a tour of his plant for Sam. During the tour, Sam encounters Capt. Glenn Cooper, but Sarah quickly steers her away from him. Secretly, Sam thinks she can hear their thoughts.

Act 1 Turning Point: Sam’s investigation takes a dangerous turn when her apartment is broken into. She narrowly escapes a confrontation with two men in black who vanish without a trace. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Sam presses on and meets Vic Mercer at his sprawling plant near Dulles International Airport in Virginia. Vic remains elusive, revealing little during their meeting. As Sam leaves, she is followed by the same men in black, heightening her sense of danger. That evening, feeling vulnerable and alone, she sees a spirit orb enter her home. Sam has a surprise visit from Sarah Kane, who seduces her. That night, Sam has a disturbing nightmare where she relives a childhood memory onboard an alien spacecraft, with her father reassuring her throughout the ordeal.

Midpoint: Sam is contacted by Dr. Alan Dolan, a former government scientist turned whistleblower. He confirms the authenticity of the information Sam has uncovered and reveals the full extent of the government’s coverup. After Sam leaves Dr. Dolan, a limo arrives with Victor Mercer to punish him for leaking top secrets to Sam. The two men in black take Dr. Dolan away. Sarah confronts Sam, warning her to abandon the investigation for her safety. Sam refuses, and in a shocking twist, she uncovers that Sarah is working with Victor Mercer.

Act 2 Turning Point: Glenn informs Sam that Dr. Dolan has been killed, leaving her feeling betrayed and isolated. Fearing for her life, Sam retreats to her family’s Chesapeake Bay cabin, where she meets Glenn. He provides her with alien technology and reveals the uneasy truce between the DoD and ETs. That night, Glenn comforts Sam, and they sleep together during a big lightning storm.

Climax: Sam has a lucid dream of her abduction as a teen, then awakens to intense lights illuminating the cabin. She is taken by aliens, while Glenn is paralyzed and unable to help. Onboard the alien ship, Sam undergoes a terrifying and invasive procedure. Afterward, she is led to a recovery room where she a being that resembles her father, who has been dead for 15 years. He explains that the aliens are involved in a hybridization program as the next step in human evolution. Sam eventually awakens, terrified, in a wooded area near a nuclear power facility and desperately seeks assistance. Glenn rescues her and takes her to a secure, secret base where they discover she has a tracking device inside her and developed psychic powers.

Resolution: Now in possession of irrefutable evidence, Sam is faced with the opportunity to expose the truth about UFOs and the government’s clandestine operations. The final scene reveals Sam receiving lab results that show she is inexplicably twelve weeks pregnant. As she grapples with the implications of her discovery, she realizes that some secrets are so dark and dangerous that perhaps they were better left undiscovered.
